CNA

On February 28 and March 7, 2022, two lessons lasting two hours each were held, organized by CNA (National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises).
During the first session, some companies were presented by employees or owners of the companies themselves. In the second lesson, they explained how to write a curriculum vitae and how to present oneself in a job interview. They described the sections that should be included in the curriculum vitae:

  • Personal Information
  • Professional Experience
  • Education/Training
  • Foreign Languages
  • Computer Skills
  • Abilities and Competences
  • Additional Information
  • Signature

These were very interesting and useful meetings for my future. In fact, they gave us an idea of what it means to work in a company.

Nonno smart

The "Nonno Smart" activity (A.S. 2021/2022, fourth grade) involved teaching basic computer knowledge to individuals over the age of 60 (turning on and off the computer, navigating the operating system, conducting internet searches, sending emails, etc.).

The activity was divided into 2 phases:

  1. Preparation and organization of the course
  2. Active participation in the course

Regarding the second phase, which is active participation in the course, we taught the "grandparents" how to:

  • Turn on and off a computer
  • Use the main computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard, printer, speakers)
  • Navigate within an operating system
  • Conduct internet searches
  • Send and read emails
  • Use main software (Skype, Picasa, Chrome, etc.)

The project allowed us to get a glimpse into the world of work, making us understand the amount of work that goes into a course of only 10 hours, which may seem simple at first glance.

Alternance training

During my school-work experience, I collaborated with a classmate at the Federazione Italiana Pallavolo di Reggio Emilia, and we were tasked with creating a website.

We worked on the full-stack development of the website, including both front-end and back-end, with the following main features:

  • Native programming
  • Dynamic website
  • Article insertion from a database
  • Database developed by us
  • Restyling of the current website
  • Live streaming of a volleyball match
